Firefox tabbed browsing hell

Is anyone besides me running into the problem of firbox tabs completely freezing? It is extremely annoying problem because you often have to close the entire browser and you lose your tabs. Sometimes the tabs freeze completely and other times they may only freeze for 2 minutes. Nevertheless, it is very irritating and a detriment to productivity.

Firefox should fix this problem or  firefox users will switch back to IE, which already offers tabbed browsing. I have also ever never run into the probl of IE tabs freezing. But for some reason firefox’s tabs freeze.

Problems like that are usually associated with extensions. Have you tried disabling (you don’t have to delete them, just disable) extensions to see if it relieves your problem? If that does it then selectively re-enable them until you find the culprit extension. While you’re in the add-ons manager, check to see if any of them have updates available. The second most likely problem is a bad plug-in. You should make sure that for sure your Java and Flash plugins are up to date.

Use tab mix plus so the tabs will be remembered next time you start the browser.

The tabs freezing is a curse on firefox. It has made me use Opera 9.2x to a larger degree.
